This is my first track where I focused on using a leitmotif. The entire track is basically a response to the call of the opening phrase. I just took that melodic statement and tweaked, twisted, and explored variants of it until I ended up with almost 4 minutes of music!
This track is very dark with lots of spookiness and dissonance, perfect for a horror game or even an apocalyptic or zombie game. It's like coming back home only to find that everything and everyone you loved is dead and gone, wiped out.
