My name is Mike Baker. I have always shared a deep appreciation and interest in videogames and the environment brought to life through music. My first love and inspiration for writing music for videogames was Zelda:Ocarina of Time. This was followed by Crono Trigger, Crono Cross, FF3/6, Thunder Force V, MegaMan, etc. I enjoyed the way the music of these games brought to life the characters, environments, and overall story. I have frequently composed music to my own stories and characters as a creative outlet. I have used FLStudios for 10 years and counting. My dream to take people on a journey through music seems to call me to write videogame music. It is the perfect setting for my style and motivation. I
I produce electronic music under the name "Si Len ce". I've written dance tracks, experimental tracks, and EPIC tracks! I am a self taught Pianist, a learned percussionist through Drumline and Orchestra, and I have taken guitar lessons in both a classical and jazzy direction. I wish to put my talent to the test in composing music for videogames. It has been a dream ever since I can remember and I am ready and willing to write the most unique and atmospheric music to bring to life another's ideas and dreams.
