Hello my name is Jonah Garcia, I'm a composer from Phoenix, AZ.
I've been composing and recording music since I was in elementary school. I earned a bachelor's degree in music composition from Brandeis University and have been working as a freelance composer/audio engineer for the last several years.
I've been looking to compose for games and would love to meet a developer in need of a composer for all or part of their project.
My primary compositional style is Western European orchestral music. I often invoke melancholic and nostalgic themes, though expressing other moods comes just as naturally. I love strings, piano, and creating new intriguing sounds.
My musical background extends into several genres, such as Jazz, Hip-Hop, Ambient/Electronic, etc. I am also familiar with Songwriting, Musical Theater, and Film Scoring.
I mix and master everything in my studio. I am familiar with game music formatting and game audio implementation. I also have a basic understanding of Wwise and FMOD, and basic C#, C++, Unity, and Unreal knowledge.
