At 24 years old, I am a composer in the midst of discovering my unique voice and identity, both personally and musically. My background in music composition is diverse, ranging from SATB choral works to highly experimental electronic pieces. My ultimate aspiration is to become a composer for video games or film/TV. I understand that this journey is long and filled with many paths, but I am committed to navigating it at my own pace.
I studied composition at Missouri Western State University, where I had the privilege of learning under Dr. David McIntire, Dr. Frank Nawrot, and Dr. David Brewer. Their mentorship has been instrumental in shaping my unique compositional voice. While my current style may not reflect it, my initial passion was for vocal music. I took private voice lessons for several years with Dr. Paul Hindemith, which profoundly influenced my early musical development.
