Damn Near Genius was created by Robert Ellis IV. His professional background in management and marketing, combined with his access to unsigned artists, songwriters and producers enabled him to set the table for DNG.
Aside from being a performer and songwriter, Robert has worked in the California Cannabis Industry since 2018. He was a consulting producer for Fishbowl Worldwide Media, where he wrote and produced on game show formats, as well as scripted and unscripted long-form shows. He formed Damn Near Genius in 2019 in order to raise awareness to the issues crippling the California Cannabis Industry.
