Enthousiastic and creative composer with 7 years of experience in writing and arranging various pieces, from classical to pop and metal. Since I was little, I've had a huge obsession with video game music; especially well-written classics (donkey kong country, super r-type, super mario world, dragon quest series) were constantly played and arranged by me. After attempting to make my own video game (an old-fashioned side-scrolling shooter), I discovered making the games was only half as fun as writing the score...
Next to my daytime job I run the Hattrick Percussion foundation that teaches music to about 40 kids in the Netherlands, and lead the Hattrick band every thursday; a band with a trumpet player and several marimba players that constantly requires me to arrange and write new songs to fit their instrumentation. While I specialise in drums and percussion (especially pitched percussion such as the marimba), I also teach piano, clarinet, guitar, bass and coach singers.
