Authors description:
John Guido Vitullo is a faculty member at Levine Music in Washington, D.C. as well as a freelance composer, teacher, and musician. He's recently released an Electronic Dance Music EP entitled "Lydian" under the name Guid[]. He is currently looking to license his music for commercial use, specifically to video games.
A graduate of the Dana School of Music at Youngstown State University with a Bachelor of Music in Percussion Performance, he has experience performing at YSU with the:

Pep Band
Jazz Ensemble and Combo
Percussion Ensemble
Marching Pride.
Guido has played with commercial groups like the Irish folk band Jane Black and was a founding member of the fusion band Cosmic Lemons. He has performed with the indie, alternative rock band Northern Whale on drum set as well as subbed for local bands like the Labra Bros. You can hear recordings of his playing on Lift Off by Cosmic Lemons, Stargazer by Sarah Donkin, and Northern Whale's full length Album, Until I'm Found.
With experience teaching groups and individuals, Guido has taught at Liberty High School as the percussion instructor for three years and assistant band director for one year. He has facilitated after school drum circles for Youngstown and Warren area elementary schools in conjunction with SMARTS (Students Motivated by the Arts). Currently, he is working on solo composition projects as well as developing himself at Levine Music.
