Hello to all. My name is A.D. Porter and I go by disbander as my artist name. I in my humble opinion I create dynamic, high intensity instrumental music with especially excellent drum parts. I mention this because most of my music is electro based and feel it is the drum parts in my music that really elevate the quality of my music. I also believe I have strong and unique keys and bass parts. I should add that most of my catalogue is light on guitar as I have only recently started to add guitar to a decent proportion of my creations.

A bit about me personally. I had pretty much given up on dreams of being a touring drummer as a career of hard hitting drumming has left me with injuries many drummers will be familiar with. This means playing full time in a band is not an option. On a whim I bought a £5 app for my phone and the rest they say is ‘history’. I quickly upgraded to doing it on a Mac and I believe after more than two decades of playing music I have finally found my niche.

I am just dipping my toe in the water here on indie game music with the five pieces of music that I have made available on the internet. I don’t know how many pieces of music I have but it must easily be 150 and that might be lowballing the figure a bit. Nearly all the other pieces are unheard so you would be getting truly exclusive music if the price is right.

I like the idea of working with indie game designers because I consider myself an underdog. I am a massive fan of Super Meat Boy and have Fez on my 360 which I need to play. I thoroughly enjoyed Indie Game The Movie and from viewing that get the strong impression that there is more of the creators heart and sole in indie games than with more collaborative major games. This would describe my music as it is a truly one man industry and I put everything into it. As such I believe the right indie games and I could be the perfect match in terms of the artistic vision but also from a business point of view because at the end of the day deals need to be agreed ;)

I will leave it there because I have said a fair bit but I hope this gives you a view of how I see good games as art and of how passionate I am of matching my music with your art to elevate it even further.
