Authors description:

My name is Lucas Di Mascio, I've been in and out of recording studios since I was 17 years old. I was trained by some of the best recording engineers in Canada. I am also the front man and main songwriter of heavy metal band Malacoda. I tend to write very concept minded music since I believe the music needs to either tell a story, or compliment the story being told.

I own a recording studio called Old Haunt (new website coming soon) which has a massive guitar and bass collection, tons of amplifiers, pedals and vintage gear and butt loads of plug-ins. Something cool about the studio is that I own Jon Schaffer of Iced Earth's Les Paul that he used on Horror Show, The Glorious Burden and many more albums. I also own a custom Diamond Phantom Amplifier- something hard to get here in Canada.

My wide skills in production and just knowing how to play a bunch of different instruments allows me to become a "one man band" of sorts, however I know tons of musicians- some in the big leagues of Heavy Metal, that could potentially be guest musicians for any project that you require. That would be an extra cost that would have to go through you and them however.

Payment notes:

I accept American and Canadian money as payment, however I will always charge in Canadian first since it's where I'm from- and because it's also extra incentive for you Yankees to use me since our dollar has always been crap compared to yours! If you are outside of North America I will still accept your payment in your currency of choice as long as it transfers to what I need in Canadian- I doubt this will be an issue, but just thought I'd mention it as a disclaimer.
