I really enjoyed 8 bit, simplistic stuff. I like the "less is more" school of thought. I think music is a key part in games - especially adventure games.
The only equipment I use right now is a sequencer on my iPad because I'm poor -_- but I like to experiment with different types of sounds, and try to constantly be working on new things.
